劉中民,男,漢族,1964年生于河南省。理學(xué)博士,研究員,博士生導(dǎo)師,中國(guó)工程院院士,全國(guó)政協(xié)第十四屆委員會(huì)常務(wù)委員,遼寧省政協(xié)第十三屆委員會(huì)副主席,民盟遼寧省第十五屆委員會(huì)主任委員?,F(xiàn)任中國(guó)科學(xué)院大連化學(xué)物理研究所所長(zhǎng)、低碳催化技術(shù)國(guó)家工程研究中心主任、國(guó)家能源低碳催化與工程研發(fā)中心主任。
劉中民長(zhǎng)期從事應(yīng)用催化研究。作為技術(shù)總負(fù)責(zé)人合作完成了多項(xiàng)創(chuàng)新成果并實(shí)現(xiàn)產(chǎn)業(yè)化。完成了世界首次甲醇制烯烴(DMTO)技術(shù)工業(yè)性試驗(yàn)及首次工業(yè)化,DMTO技術(shù)已實(shí)現(xiàn)技術(shù)實(shí)施許可2400萬(wàn)噸烯烴/年,已投產(chǎn)超過(guò)1300萬(wàn)噸烯烴/年;完成了世界首套10萬(wàn)噸/年煤基乙醇(DMTE)工業(yè)示范項(xiàng)目,DMTE技術(shù)已實(shí)現(xiàn)技術(shù)實(shí)施許可455萬(wàn)噸/年,已投產(chǎn)超過(guò)215萬(wàn)噸乙醇/年,引領(lǐng)了我國(guó)新興煤制大宗化學(xué)品和清潔燃料產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展。
劉中民曾榮獲國(guó)家技術(shù)發(fā)明一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、遼寧省科技最高獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、省部級(jí)以上科技獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)十余項(xiàng),以及周光召應(yīng)用科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)、何梁何利基金科學(xué)與技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)創(chuàng)新獎(jiǎng)等多項(xiàng)個(gè)人獎(jiǎng)勵(lì),是國(guó)家五一勞動(dòng)獎(jiǎng)?wù)芦@得者,新世紀(jì)百千萬(wàn)人才工程國(guó)家級(jí)人選。
